Documents Required for Bike Registration

When you buy a bike from the showroom usually the showroom takes care of all the RTO registration process. The list of documents that are required are below

• Passport size photographs
• A valid ID proof having your photo on it; think Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, and a valid driving license.
• Proof of address: Passport, latest electricity bill, LIC policy, Aadhaar card, Ration card.

In case you’re living on rent, you must carry the following:

• Your rent agreement.
• Landlord’s electricity bill.

Procedure for New Bike Registration in Haryana

The registration procedure includes the vehicle to be inspected physically by Inspecting Authority at Registering Authority Office for its particulars and followed by registration. The documents required to apply the registration are as follows :-

• Form 20 duly filled up.
• Form 21 (Sale certificate) issued by the vehicle dealer
• Attested copy of valid vehicle insurance policy/cover note
• Attested copy of address proof at which vehicle is to be registered.
• Form 34 duly signed by owner and the financer
• Road tax (as applicable)
• Prescribed fee for registration
• Valid Fitness Certificate (if applicable)
• PAN Card or Form 60 & Form 61 (as applicable)

Documents Are Required For A Bike/Scooty Loan

Salaried Person:

• ID Proof: Passport /Photo credit Card/Pan Card /Driver’s License /Voter’s ID/Aadhaar Card/ Identity card with applicant’s photograph issued by Central/ State Government Departments, PSU.
• Two recent passport size photographs
• Address Proof: Passport/Driver’s License /Voter’s ID/Utility Bill/Aadhaar card/Bank account or Post Office savings bank account statement. It should be computerized documents issued by PSU, Pvt Sector or MNC Banks only. / Property or Municipal Tax receipt; Address proof in the name of the applicant’s spouse or parents name is acceptable
• Last 3 month’s salary slips/ Form 16/Latest ITR
• Last 3 month’s bank statement is mandatory

Self Employed:

• ID Proof: Passport /Pan Card/Driver’s License/Voter’s ID/Aadhaar Card
• Two recent passport size photographs
• Address Proof: Passport/Driver’s License /Voter’s ID/Utility Bill/Aadhaar card/Bank account or Post Office savings bank account statement. It should be computerized documents issued by PSU, Pvt Sector or MNC Banks only. (All banks except corporation bank)/  Property or Municipal Tax receipt; Address proof in the name of the applicant’s spouse or parents name is acceptable
• Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
• Last 3 month’s bank statement is mandatory
