People own vehicles these days for the easy and smooth functioning of their day-to-day chores and to reach as soon as possible wherever required. More than average households today, own at least one vehicle and some own two or even more. Vehicles have become an essential part of our life not only to simplify lives but also as a status symbol. People use cars to show their well-being. But, all this comes with a price.
If a person does not follow traffic rules while on road with their vehicle, there is a penalty to be paid. This penalty is Challan. Challan is issued by the traffic police to a vehicle owner on account of not following the regulations of the traffic department. It can be issued on several occasions such as not wearing a helmet in case of a two-wheeler, not wearing a seatbelt in case of a four-wheeler, breaking the traffic signal, taking a wrong route, etc.
Nowadays, Challan can be issued electronically. The individual gets notified on the phone or by email and checks their challan on the E-Challan website and pays on the website itself. Let’s discuss how to check and pay E-Challan.
